Trenton times field hockey notebook: Division races are settled as post season looms

With the Mercer County Tournament just over a week away and the NJSIAA Sectional Tournaments to follow shortly thereafter, the regular season is quickly coming to a close, and with it, the settling of divisional races.

Most of the division titles involving area teams have been all but settled, with only the BCSL Liberty Division race remaining in any serious doubt. In that race, Northern Burlington is in the driver’s seat, sitting atop the division with a 7-0-1 record after its 2-1 win over Florence on the road last Monday.
