Sosnoskie leads Monmouth past Burlington Township

It was a big day for junior forward Isabella Sosnoskie during Monmouth’s 4-2 victory over Burlington Township in Tinton Falls.
Sosnoskie tallied a game-high three goals to lead the Falcons to their ninth win of the season.
Sosnoskie’s first goal of the contest came in the third quarter to give the Falcons a 2-1 lead. After Burlington Township tied the game early on in the fourth quarter, Sosnoskie answered back for Monmouth with back-to-back goals to lead the Falcons to victory.
Katie Parent scored a goal and had an assist in the Monmouth victory, while Emma Riccardi dished out a team-high two assists for the Falcons.
Molly Dubman had an assist and Kaitlyn Convery recorded a save for Monmouth.
Monmouth (9-4) has won four consecutive games.
Emily Esposito and Haley Abruzzese each scored a goal for Burlington Township (4-5-2). Katelynn Wiesniewski finished with a game-high 18 saves.
