PDS blank Hopewell Valley, 3-0 – Trentonian

HOPEWELL TWP. — Sophia Zhou scored twice, Abby Weed had one and the Princeton Day girls soccer team jumped on Hopewell Valley in the first half for a 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon at Ackerson Field.

Ava Szalabofka and Makena Graham had assists and Shelby Ruf made four saves for the Panthers (8-1-1) as they kept the pressure on Notre Dame in the CVC Colonial Division.

The Bulldogs dropped to 7-4-1.

Robbinsville 6, WW-PS 1

PRINCETON JCT. — The Ravens (5-6-1) picked up the victory over the Pirates (2-9). Maya Montemayor scored in the first half for South.

Allentown 1, Red Bank Catholic 1

RED BANK — Martha Olorunnisola scored the equalizer in the second half for the Redbirds (9-0-3) after Mya King staked the Caseys (10-0-2) to the lead. Both teams remained unbeaten after this non-league tilt.

Middletown South 1, Princeton 0

MIDDLETOWN — Maria DeGregorio scored in overtime to give Middletown South (8-3-1) a narrow victory over the Tigers (6-6-1).

WW-PN 3, Burlington Twp. 3

PLAINSBORO — Ginny Choi, Prema Budhiraja and Julia Eckel all scored to help the Knights (2-9-1) get a draw against the Falcons (1-7-1), who got all three of their goals courtesy of a Gianna Simmonds hat trick.

Pennington 4, Paul VI 0

PENNINGTON — Hailey Adamsky scored twice in the second half and also had two assists to help the Red Hawks (12-0) remain undefeated with a win over the Eagles (6-4-1). Brianna Turner gave Pennington the lead in the 29th minute and Sara Chrnelich also scored.

Lawrenceville 1, Steinert 0

LAWRENCEVILLE — Vivienne Wan converted a pass from Maddie Brogan to give the Big Red (1-3) their first win in overtime as they edged the Spartans (8-3-1). Emily Hardiman stopped 10 shots for Steinert.
